The renewal of the 1938 Reformed Church in Hernádkak focused on openness and community. The exterior received a brighter façade, new windows, and a welcoming entrance canopy that symbolically opens the church toward the village. Inside, a light-filled, white space with warm wooden pews and a marble-patterned floor creates a calm, inclusive atmosphere. The redesigned apse places the Lord’s Table at the center, surrounded by bespoke liturgical furniture, uniting tradition and contemporary simplicity.
